Children’s Book Press had founded in 1975. It is a nonprofit independent publisher. They promotes cooperation and understanding through multicultural and bilingual literature. Children’s Book Press offers your children a sense of their culture, history and importance.
Talking about their vision, Children’s Book Press is the only one of the nonprofit and independent press in the country. Children’s Book Press focuses on publishing first voice literature for children by and about people from the Latino, African American, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Native American communities.
When the lived and shared experiences of cultures have been under-represented or misrepresented, so Children’s Book Press promotes them. The other focus is promoting inter-cultural and cross-cultural awareness for children of all backgrounds. The Children’s Book Press literature also provides various tools for building the healthy children, families, and thriving communities for generations.
